As part of the CDMFA’s Spring Flag Football League, this program introduces both new and returning players to the exciting sport of Flag Football. Emphasis will be placed on developing core skills such as footwork, hand-eye coordination, catching, throwing, and general football techniques. Through engaging practices, players will build a strong foundation in football fundamentals while also learning the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship.
By playing in a 5-a-side format on a smaller field, participants will enjoy more opportunities to handle the ball and actively engage in the game. This division serves as an excellent introduction to tackle football. The smaller field and reduced player count maximize each participant's opportunity for ball touches and overall involvement in every play. The primary objectives are skill development, fundamental training, and fostering teamwork, all while ensuring a fun and active experience for the players.
