It is with great excitement that we announce that the Fort Saskatchewan Minor Football Association (FSMFA) is offering Spring Flag Football for all levels (Novice, Atom, Peewee & Bantam). This is new to our association and the season will only be running from early April until end of May (beg of June). For those who aren’t familiar with Spring Flag, this is an additional opportunity for our kids to get in on the football action and focus on skills. There are many other associations in our league who have put in teams and with lots of players registered already. If we can get a good number of players registered this will be an AWESOME spring season.
Please be advised that there have been some major changes to the way registration will run this year. Previously, the FSMFA registration fees were paid directly to our association and out of these fees our association was billed by Football Alberta for Insurance for each of our players ($40.00 per player for contact and $17.00 per player for non-contact) and CDMFA billed for Membership Fees ($10.00 per player) and League Fees ($100.00 per player for contact and $50.00 for non-contact).
New this year, in addition to the FSMFA registration fees, our parents will be required to pay the Football Alberta Insurance fee directly to Football Alberta and the CDMFA Membership and League Fees directly to CDMFA. No fret, these fees will all form part of your package when you register for your seasons and the Fort Saskatchewan Football Fees will be adjusted to consider these new charges that you parents will now need to pay. The Football Alberta and CDMFA charges are non-refundable. In addition, with your payment of the league fees, CDMFA is offering parents to choose the ability to sell raffle tickets to recuperate those charges. This is a great option to take as these fees MUST be paid regardless and by choosing the raffle tickets vs opting out, you will have a chance to win the grand prize.
Because of these changes, we are now only able to offer Credit Card or Visa Debit and/or Mastercard debit as form of payment. E-Transfers will no longer be accepted.
